Student-Staff Meeting

Hey
There seems to be a student-staff meeting being scheduled in the month of December and we need an agenda to table at the meeting. Would appreciate suggestions and feedback from your end so that we can discuss it at the meeting.
Well other than that the PM deadline fast approaching.. and the deadlines for the full-time jobs next year also coming up.. nothing much i guess ;)

Monday@DunDee

Hey everybody
Well Im off this Monday to University of Dundee where there is going to be an event organized by Sparqs (www.sparqs.org.uk) where student representatives of different universities are going to meet together to discuss how their courses are run and what content do they like or rather dislike...hmmm... Gonna be interesting for sure!
Well will see what I can take from this event and give as feedback to our faculties of Computer Science and Business. It is going to be an all day event which was a shame I thought, since its the first time I'm visiting Dundee and with the shorter days doesn't really give me the chance to move about visiting places. But well its something new, and I'm excited to see how it is going to turn out.
Btw there has been an email sent out on behalf of the entertainment committee by Yusuf, if you guys haven't replied already please do so hopefully should help in planning the trip out.

St Andrews Day offer

Historic Scotland has a few offers in place for celebrating St Andrews Day on the 30th of November 2008. They have free entries to various historic sites on the 29th and 30th of November. An example of the money saving involved would be the example of the Stirling and the Edinburgh Castles, 2 of the most visited castles in Scotland and perhaps even the entire United kingdom; usually they charge quite a hefty entrance in terms of us being skint and all ;)
So would encourage everyone to have a look at http://www.scotland.org/standrewsday/ and decide on something to do on the 29th and the 30th of this month.

Hey ppl

Was thinking that maybe setting up a blog will be a way of having some information exchange with regards to what is happening in the course and also a platform for exchanging ideas and information with each other.
We can use this blog to share ideas and suggestions and maybe after reaching a consensus move forward to see how it can implemented or worked upon. Feel free to add comments and if you want remain anonymous... it's alright!
